The Foods program at J Percy Page provides students with relevant, high-quality culinary training focusing on the exploration of traditional cooking and baking techniques. These experiences will prepare our students for every day home cooking or Culinary Arts as a career. Our students receive real-world practice through hands-on experiences. Most of the instruction and evaluation for these courses is lab based where students learn to transform simple and exotic ingredients into final products that are plated in an artistic and appealing way. Self-motivation is required in this fast paced and fun group environment.
